2020 Adega de Moncao Vinho Verde Muralhas de Moncao.
New arrival downtown, SC, $18 Cda, 12% alc, blend of Alvarinho and Trajadura.
Was worried about possible travel shock but all turned out nicely. Very pale straw yellow, no green. Aromatics took a while to show, hints of spritz. Typical nose mineral, apple, peach but nothing dominated.
Initial thought was citrus good mid palate but tad short. Did take a while to open up then quite tasty. 3rd day was still drinking nicely but overall thought needed more zip. Food was pork tenderloin with sauteed shrimp.
