2018 Bedrock Wine Co. Syrah California
Excellent quaffer syrah. Balanced, gulpable, fun.

2018 Château Climens Asphodèle Bordeaux Sémillon
Lowish acidity, no wow factor like the '17 had, signs of early oxidation.

2018 Marcelo Pelleriti Cabernet Franc Signature Valle de Uco
PnP'd on the deck while watching birds on the beach, not decanted, no food--significant since other posters on CT suggested this was ONLY a food wine. Not so, just very dry and French in style, dusty, classic CF flavors, full bodied but not plush. Really, really liked it.

So Asphodèle is a dry Bordeaux, Climens answer to Ygrec?

Yes it is. Loved LOVED the '17, but this one wasn't even close. I have another bottle which I'm now not looking forward to.
