A very interesting article by Matthias Neske in TRINK on returning ancient German grape varieties to respect:

and the efforts of a number of passionate growers to return some of the varieties to respect. This is a pretty exciting effort to my mind.

Read the article the other day, and while I am interested, I am maybe not interested enough to go looking for the wines.

I would be more excited if there was a Scheurebe resurgence.

In Franconia they make decent dry Scheurebe, eg Wirsching and Weltner , while Weltner's Saugignon Blanc is a strong internal competitor to his Scheu.

I am surprised to see you, David, asking for Scheurebe, while you are known as a SB-hater. They can be so similar that there even was a vintner in Franconia who had switched them, and mistakenly sold SB for Scheurebe and vice versa

I have Weltner Scheurebe. My inspiration for loving Scheurebe comes from the old HGS-made bottlings at Müller-Catoir. So not anything like Sauvignon.
