2005 Salwey Oberrotweiler Käsleberg Baden/Kaiserstuhl Weissburgunder Kabinett Trocken (Germany) 12% – appears beautiful reflective, incredible light golden color, smell strong peaches, flowers, hint of butter, with air, full succulent yet flowery fruit, peaches and pears, delicious, mouthfeel hint of light spritz, taste hint of apricot, finely tuned fruit, flowers, peach pie, slight pasty stone and lime tang on finish, quite light and airy in mouth with long lasting finish, superb light presence wine, went divinely with green garlic pudding soufflé

1997 Domaine de l’Arlot Nuits St. Georges Jeunes Vignes (Burgundy, France) – appears cranberry color, smell wonderful thick, clusters of berries, good and earthy, as opens up feels deeper, mouthfeel incredible silk drawn across the tongue, as sits in mouth the wine feels far denser until a fanciful lightness refreshes the tongue on finish, taste good berry flavor, pleasant, but nothing all that complex, soft, the wine felt like 2 different wines, one with an enjoyable taste when drunk on its own, and another that paired excellently with the beef stew I was enjoying, refreshing with every glass, not an astounding wine, but a fun one with food and without
