Interesting and tasty wine, though I honestly don’t see what all the fuss is about. It tastes like Scheurebe (kinky beast that it is - sage, grapefruit, apple skin and a touch of cannabis fritter), and has good acidity. I don’t get the depth that was in the HGS Scheurebe wines. It’s fun, but doesn’t have an extra gear beyond that.

I don't dislike Scheurebe. It grows extremely well here in the Puget Sound appellation so we see local efforts from time to time that compare very well to the German imports. Though I'm not sure I've ever detected cannabis fritter, since that descriptor isn't in my wheelhouse (trying to imagine an Oregano fritter).
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

I have never had a cannabis fritter. It just smelled like what I imagine one would be like.
