Tried these three wines last night:
1. Carlisle Compagni-Portis WW SonomaVlly/SonomaCnty (13.6%; Plntd: 1954; GWT/TrousseauGris/Riesling; 75 cs) 2020: Med.gold color; quite attractive lychee/floral/spicy/gardenias light stony/mineral quite perfumed nose; rather tart/tangy/slight metallic some floral/lychee/spicy/gardenias light mineral bit old-timey lovely flavor; very long/lingering restrained/quiet floral/lychee/gardenias/spicy bit complex finish; a lovely perfumed white that speaks quietly of GWT more like AltoAdige than Alsace; the GrayRiesling gives it a bit of an old-timey character; will put on weight over the next yr and probably go out 4-8 yrs; another beautiful Compagni-Portis. $27.00

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. I was surprised in what good a shape the SBC Syrah '02 was. But the next day out on the counter, it was pretty mush shot. And I was surprised how far gone the Thompson Syrah was.
