1. I've been going to Bakersfield/Oildale frequently to take care of my recently deceased brother's estate. The Imbibe wine shop is one of the high points of my trips out there. But the food??? Meh. Recently ate at one of their top Basque restaurants, WoolCatchers. Dreadful food that was so incredibly bland. Basque food can be sorta spicy. This food had no flavor whatsoever, save the salt that I added. Can you say Pablum?
