1. FitVine Chard Calif (14.1%) V&B by FitVineCllrs/Lodi 2019: Med.light gold color; very light vaguely fruity very slight melony/Chard rather bland/vapid/uninteresting nose; quite soft vaguely fruity almost no melony/Chard bit textured rather dull/vapid flavor; fairly short vaguely fruity no Chard character rather vapid/bland/dull slightly textured finish; a pretty dull/vapid whate that has no Chard character whatsoever; probably cropped in Lodi at 12 tons/acre; not even up to the lofty standards of CharlesShaw Chard; the alcohol is all this wine has going for it that gives it a bit of texture; way overpriced at $15.00 (S/WR)

1. Since I did my post a few days ago on AlderYarrow's rant on DryFarm wines ("full of $shit") and then visited the DryFarm WebSite, I've been getting a lot of posts in my FaceBook feed for various wineries. One of the most persistent is for FitVine wnry. Whose wines are touted as being healthy for me and improve my fitness. Hmmmm... I wonder if Google is tracking the WebSites I visit and letting FaceBook know where I've been?? Nawh....they surely wouldn't be doing anything that nefarious!!
This wnry touts themselves as being a producer of "natural" wines. And in the WebSite, they tout the fact that they:
We use the latest technology in cross-flow filtration, triple filtering our wines. This process keeps our wines gluten-free and vegan friendly.
Interesting that the '19 vintage is the current one on the market. Should be the '21, that RobertParker & AntonioGalloni have both touted as the most healthy vintage in decades.
Hmmmm.... I always thought "natural" wines was about "add nothing/take nothing away".
But it did make me feel virtuous & healthy. Went out and ran a marathon in record time, did a winter climb in 3' of snow of South Truchas Peak, and getting ready to do a Century bike ride.
