Tried these two new Whites over the weekend w/ Susan:
1. Pax Vermentino TheBench/ClementsHills (12%) Sebastapol 2021: Med.dark gold color that suggests some skin-contact; light phenolic/VM/skin-contact bit earthy/dusty some appley/pear/floral/carnations/perfumed quite pleasant nose; bit soft/rich/lush some phenolic/VM/resiny some Verm/floral/carnations/appley bit tangy/metallic interesting/attractive flavor w/ slight tannic bite; med.long some resiny/VM/skin-contact light Verm/appley/floral/dandelions/hollyhocks finish w/ bit of a tannic bite; lots of VM character & some Verm fruit; mildly interesting but just that; probably benefit from a few yrs of age. $28.00

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. Fruit of the Vines is an importer who brings in a lot of natural wines. This Loire was perfectly clean & displayed no natty character whatsoever, even on the next day.
