What do you think the aging prospects are for this wine? Is it on its plateau or still improving?

Depends on what you want from it. I am no Sauternes expert, but I love this right where it is. Sure has a lot of stuffing, so probably upside if you want more developed elements.

Great title.

Btw, I have a lot of Sauternes that I don't get around to drinking, so you could say I age Sauternes. But watching the various bottlings over a period of years, do they get better? They change, but for me the difference isn't necessarily better. I can't imagine enjoying something more than I did a 2003 Climens pretty much right out of the gate, or an '01 Rieussac in about 2010.

It really does depend on what you enjoy. One of the best wine experiences of my life was the 2001 Rieussec about three weeks after my futures showed up. Young and scrumptious.
