- 2010 Domaine Robert Arnoux / Arnoux-Lachaux Nuits St. Georges Les Poisets - France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Nuits St. Georges (3/31/2022)
Thursday night pop and pour, because it’s almost Friday. From half bottle this is young, but showing an alluring perfume and a deep core of strength that signals a long period of evolution. Smells like a garden in springtime, and has teeth like a late March cold snap. The juxtaposition is actually what I love about NSG, and keeps me going back for more, even when I know the wines aren’t ready. I know there will be a frost, but I want to escape the winter of being bundled up, and feel the sun warming the back of my neck, despite the chill of the breeze.
