WTN: DryCreekVnyd Zin LateHrvst '06....(short/boring)

Tried this last night at dinner at Pig+Fig (terrific St.Paddy'sDay corned beef & cabbage):
1. DryCreekVnyd Zin LateHrvst/SonomaCnty (24% PetiteSirah; 14.4%; SaH: 35 Brix; RS: 10%) 2006: Rather dark brownish color; very strong raisened/pruney/late hrvsty/grapey some earthy little fruit some fumey/alcoholic complex nose; soft/fat very sweet quite raisened/pruney/grapey some oxidative some complex flavor w/ no tannins; very long/lingering intense raisened/pruney/grapey/late hrvsty some fumey/alcoholic quite sweet soft finish; loads of raisened/pruney character & not much else; not showing much evolution or interesting complexity.

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. This was a pretty classic classic old LateHrvst Zin w/ lots of raisened/pruney character. I was rather disappointed in it for on its release, it showed a huge amount of very ripe boysenberry fruit. That's all disappeared & leaving nothing behind but a raisened/pruney character.
