Normally Hardy’s wines send me into some kind of trance state. The EWCO wines have an even more mystical quality than the D&R wines. This is not one of those wines. The Barbdawg is a focused beam of intensity. It’s the Bifröst rather than the vortex. The Barbera acidity penetrates the senses, blazing a path for bright berry fruit and a side serving of rare meat. Serve with a feast on Asgard!

Decanted for two hours, then poured back in the bottle prior to serving.
