- 2010 Anthill Farms Syrah Sonoma Coast - USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Coast (3/11/2022)
Almost two years since my last bottle, and this just keeps getting better. A couple of hours in the decanter to get it ready, and then it was firing on all cylinders. Not much in the way of fruit until a touch of plum comes in on the finish, but it was full of that meaty, bloody, iron rich soul of Syrah. If it had thrown off some bacon aromas I would have lost my mind. It didn’t, but it was still incredibly satisfying, and a wonder for the $18 in 2012. Crazy. Drink now, and likely for the next five years or so.

"If it had thrown off some bacon aromas I would have lost my mind." Made me smile.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
