Desperate for a decent red to drink, I cracked these two w/ Steve:
1. Turley Zin TofanelliVnyd/NapaVlly (15.5%) St.Helena 2005: Med.color w/ lots of bricking; some ripe/blackberry/Zin/boysenberry rather cedary/pencilly/oldRed slight dusty/OV bit toasty/pencilly/oak somewhat aged bit complex nose; soft bit hot/fumey/alcoholic some ripe/blackberry/Zin fairly cedary/pencilly/oldRed rather tired flavor w/ light tired/astringent tannins; very long rather tired/cedary/oldZin finish; still some interesting things therein but barely clinging to life.

1. With the Shiraz, I just pretty much gave up & called it a night. At least the leftover asparagus risotto was good.
