We tried these two Roses over the weekend:

Empedrado/MauleVlly/Chile (13.5%; Lot#103; 75+ yr old vines; 90% Carignane/10% Mataro; 8 hrs of skin contact; 3812 btls; House of Jenny/Bend/OR) Vitivinicola Two Winters/Santiago/Chile 2020: Med. rose/garnet color; very light floral/cherry rather earthy/dusty pleasant enough nose; fairly tart/tangy fairly earthy/dusty/OV light cherry/Carignane/floral bit bland/lean flavor w/ slight bitey tannins; med. some earthy/dusty/OV very light floral/Carignane/cherry bit tangy/metallic finish; a pleasant enough rose but not very distinctive & a bit on the dull/rustic side; speaks of OV & mildly interesting. $22.50 (KK)

TablasCreekVnyds Patelin de Tablas Rose/PasoRobles (13.0%; 79% Grenache/15% Mourv/6% Counoise) PasoRobles 2021: Very pale salmon/copper color; quite lovely very fragrant strawberry/cranberry/Grenache/spicy nose; fairly tart/tangy slightly rich slight metallic/tangy quite perfumed/strawberry/Grenache/spicy slight tangy/chalky quite lovely/pretty flavor w/ light tannins; rather long bright/strawberry/Grenache/cranberry light chalky/tangy/metallic finish; quite an attractive/pretty Grenache rose that should benefit from a yr of age to soften/round out.
