Had these three the other night:

Forlorn-Hope baron von verm Vermentino RorickHeritage/CalaverasCnty/SierraFoothills (12.70%) 2018: Med.light gold color; very attractive Verm/floral/carnations rather chalky/stony/mineral some complex nose; quite tart/tangy/bit metallic some Verm/floral/carnations/bit herbal rather stony/chalky fairly saline/savory flavor; med.long some Verm/floral/carnations/bit herbal fairly chalky/mineral/perfumed talc rather savory finish; not the effusive fruit of most Calif Verm; reminds some of a Corsican Vermentino; quite a nice savory expression of Calif Verm.

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. The LaClarine is a natural wine that's pretty much gone round the bend. Pretty much undrinkable.

Good to see the “Teldeschi” evolving well.

Speaking of Teldeschi, wasn't there a Teldeschi winery for awhile? I have a very very vague memory of having been there--a little house in Dry Creek area, nothing fancy, short owner, and it's where I finally got "black raspberry" a descriptor I'd read of but in fact managed to segregate from other flavors. Or did I dream this.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

Yup... there was a TeldeschiWnry just up the alley next to the DryCreekGeneralStore at the start of LambertBridgeRd. There were two Teldeschi brothers who split the vnyd when their Dad died.
