Tried this new PetNat wine last weekend:
1. Sea Foam Unico Zelo (12.5%; EpicurianWines/Seattle; 80% Vermentino/20% Fiano) Brendan & Laura/Riverland/SouthAustralia 2021: Rather yellow/orangey quite cloudy filled w/ foamy bubbles that dissapate & lots of flocculant sediment; rather yeasty/bready/lemony some earthy little fruit nose; quite fizzy/frizzante rather lemony/lemonade somewhat bready/yeasty/leesy flavor that foams up in your mouth & obliterates any flavor; rather short leesy/bready/yeasty very foamy bit earthy finish; nothing but foam on the palate that obliterates any flavor; a quite vapid wine that has nothing going for it but foam and no wine character whatsoever; no obvious natty character; way overpriced at $20.00 (KK)

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. I was attracted to trying this new PetNat because of the interesting blend of grapes. But a bit reluctant because it is a natural wine. This was so characteristic of so many PetNat wines, nothing but the foam going for it. When the wine hits your palate, it immediately foams up and carries away any wine flavor the wine might have.
