Opened a 2015 Troplong Mondot tonite with 2 hrs. decant. Could have used 4 but showed rather well nevertheless. Went very well with chuck roast for 3 hrs. on wood stove. Lots of sweet cherry and mineral and overall glad I opened my 1st of 6 but will wait til 2026+ for the next one. Lots of sweet extraction and good tannins but little tertiary development. Very nice!

Walked away from TM after 2001, when they went full spoof. Did they ever dial it back, or no?
