I bet it's most likely a transcription error, or beyond that a slip of the tongue that got printed verbatim by someone who doesn't know enough to properly edit the slip.

Sounds right. It's just at a website/publication solely focused on wine and other alcoholic beverages,you'd think SOMEONE would have said "what"? I wouldn't have been surprised if it was in a Gannett paper or general interest magazine,but this is all VInePair does!
