Tried these two last night:
1. Ryme Vermentino "Hers" LasBrisasVnyd/Carneros (11.6%) 2021: Light yellow color; strong floral/Verm/carnations light chalky/mineral slight pungent/herbal/perfumed talc rather fragrant nose; quite tart/tangy/slight steely bright/zippy/Verm/floral/carnations bit lean/steely slight chalky/perfumed talc flavor; very long bright/Verm/floral/carnations tart/tangy/steely some saline bit chalky/perfumed talc bit lean/austere finish; lots of flavor for only 11.6%; seems a bit tight right now but is sure to put on weight w/ 6 mo. of age; another delicious "Hers". $25.00

2. LimerickLane 1023 RRV/SonomaCnty (52% Zin/45% Syrah/3% Grenache; 15.2%; EG) 2015: Very dark color w/ slight bricking; strong Zin/blackberry/very spicy/boysenberry/ripe some dusty/OV some toasty/charred/oak slight pencilly/cedary/smokey fairly complex nose; bit soft slight tangy/metallic/edary/pencilly bit hot/alcoholic strong blackberry/boysenberry/Zin/spicy/peppery some dusty/OV fairly complex flavor w/ light tangy tannins; very long strong blackberry/Zin/ripe/spicy/peppery some toasty/smokey/oak finish w/ light tangy tannins; quite a lovelt red that speaks more of Syrah than Zin; starting to show a bit cedary/metallic character that indicates it is starting to turn the corner but should still be good for another 2-4 yrs.

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. My latest Ryme shipment arrived ystrday, so had to crack one right off the boat. The "Hers" is Megan's direct-to-press conventional Verm, as distinguished from the "His" which is a ViniMacerati. I think this will be an absolutely delicious Verm in about 6 mo. and should go out 6-8 yrs.
