  • 2017 Edmunds St. John Gamay Bone-Jolly Rose Witters Vineyard - USA, California, Sierra Foothills, El Dorado County (1/23/2022)
Afternoon glass to go with the early football game. This is still fresh and red fruited, with brisk acidity, and a touch of chalky grip on the finish. Still drinking so well.

I had the '16 over the weekend, and it was full of pleasure, too!

Attempted to access the winery website, but got a warning about a security risk. So I skipped it. Anyone, how do you research and/or purchase from this vintner? Any chance of it showing up for sales such as Berserker Day? Frugal soul here, as always.

it does say not secure, in the address bar; I don't do any direct transactions on site, instead asking interested folks to email me.

Yes, I wouldn't worry about http://edmundsstjohn.com/ as you are not entering CC or other personal info.
I've ordered directly from Steve before with great service, but usually in NYC I can get ESJ wines at retail readily.

Yea, I only worry about it if doing e-commerce.
But surprised there was a preemptive warning, my security only alerts me on spoofed sites.
