This Argentine white was quite good. Lemon plus other citrus notes in the nose plus a bit of vanilla, tasty and balanced.
Went well with something I made for dinner - around 250 g. of bacon, cut into 1 cm. bits and sauteed until crisping, then added a bunch of cut up Scottish smoked cod - rather like finnan haddie (only that it was cod instead of haddock). For anyone that doesn't know this fish treatment, it is cold smoked cod coloured with turmeric. Worked very well against the fairly big chard.
