Another undrinkable wine from Radikon:
1. Radikon Oslavje IGT: Venezia Giulia Bianco (14.0%; SauvBlanc/Chard/PinotGrigio; Louis/Dressner Imprts) Radikon/Oslavia/Gorizia 2013: Deep golden/burnished bronze color; rather volatile/acetic/EA some ViniMacerati/resins/phenolic little fruit quite fumey/volatile nose; soft rather volatile/EA/acetic slight VM/resiny bit Off-dry flavor w/ slight tannic bite; very long rather volatile/EA/bit acetic some VM/phenolic finish; undoubtedly well above the 1.2gm/L legal limit for VA; very unattractive to taste; actually with the 'Nduja you can (barely) drink it but still pretty volatile. The next day, the VA is overwhelming, becomes very bitter, and a dreadful wet dog fur/oxidative aftertaste. $56.00/500 ml (BWM)

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. Jeff at BWM cautioned me that this was a "natural" wine and I probably wouldn't care for it, looking over my other selections. At least he didn't, like other wine merchants, tell me this was how it was supposed to taste. Another dreadful Radikon. It puzzles me why a winemaker would make crap like this that is painful to drink. Guess I'm just a wuss.
