Tried these two over the weekend:
1. Aeris Bianco VentennialMtnVnyd/MendoCnty (Carricante; 12.0%) RhysVnyd/Ukiah 2018: Med.yellow color; strong stony/chalky/mineral light earthy light floral/carnations/white flowers bit spicy/cardamon bit alpine flowers/edelweis rather fragrant quite interesting nose; very tart/tangy/metallic rather chalky/mineral/stony light floral/alpine flowers/edelweiss/carnations/Carricante slight earthy brisk/laser-sharp/scintillating quite interesting flavor; very long stony/mineral/chalky/steely light floral/edelweiss/carnations/Carricante lovely laser-sharp finish; a very mineral-driven steely lightly floral white that reminds some of a richer Savoie Jacquere or Roussette; an absolutely riveting minerally white but not at all lean or eviscerated; Kevin has created MtEtna in MendoCnty & we can only hope it doesn't erupt on us. $39.00

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. Carricante: An indigenous white grape of Sicily. It is usually blended w/ Catarratto but many believe that Carricante makes the best of Sicilian whites. KevinHarvey became fascinated w/ Carricante & has the first planting of the variety in Calif. He also makes a Sicilian Carricante w/ a local producer, Salvo Foti, one of the pillars of Sicily:
SalvoFoti
which is a bit on the expensive side.
