Tried these three over the last few days:
1. IngridGroiss Gemischter Satz Braitenpuechtarff (12.5%; www.Ingrid-Groiss.At; CircoVino/Tuscon) Breitenwaida/Niederosterreich 2017: Med.light gold/darker color; rather dull somewhat grapey some floral/carnations bit earthy pleasant nose; some spritz/dissolved CO2 vaguely grapey/floral somewhat earthy bit dull pleasant flavor; med. somewhat grapey/floral bit dissolved CO2 light earthy finish; a pleasant enough GS but somewhat on the dull/tired side; not a bad wine but lacks the usual IngridGroiss excitement. $21.00 (KK)

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. I've been a big fan of the IngridGroiss wines when the '15's first showed up here in NM. This '17 was a bit of a let-down, but the two '15's are really singing right now.
A few yrs ago, we did a visit w/ Ingrid at her wnry and her parents Heurigen, where she treated us like royalty, in between working in the wnry during crush. We took along a btl of the Carlisle GrunerVeltliner and she professed to like it quite a lot, didn't know they could make GV that good in Calif. A wonderful lady who makes some great wines at the level of those from the Wachau.
