- 1999 Weingut Willi Bründlmayer Grüner Veltliner Alte Reben Kamptal - Austria, Niederösterreich, Kamptal (12/1/2021)
Five years ago I said this was fully mature. It still is. There has been no deterioration. It’s still riding a plateau. It’s full bodied because it’s full flavored. The aged elements have broadened the palate, adding golden tones to the green that is Grüner Veltliner. It’s almost as if someone braised an orange rind and fresh hay in a broth of Grüner. Really delicious. Drink it now and enjoy.
