- NV Marc Hébrart Champagne Premier Cru Blanc de Blancs Brut - France, Champagne, Champagne Premier Cru (11/14/2021)
January 2019 disgorgement.
Effortlessly drinkable Champagne, that shows citrus and apple fruit, and solid, if not starring role level acidity. It’s a friendly puppy Champagne at this stage, jumping up and licking your face. Probably a little higher in dosage than some would prefer (there’s apparently another cuvée with slightly lower dosage), but my wife and I both loved drinking this with our gougeres and a movie. I would happily drink lots more, especially given the favorable pricing in the overheated wine market.
