Hard to believe this is nineteen years post vintage, as it is still so fresh. White peach, saline minerality, sweetness measured as a dusting of powdered sugar on a shortbread cookie, it’s all about elegant balance. I wonder if I actually opened this too soon! Thankfully I have other vintages, and can allow them to rest with confidence.
Such an underrated producer.
