My budding vineyard. The top shot is my Concord vine; the bottom pic shows my Niagara vine. It would be neat if some viticulturalist out there could document the seasons of the vine in pictures.

That's quite an image you evoke there, Bob.

Nope, no lepidoptera yet, but I have managed to coax the Nuttall's Woodpeckers to feed on my deck. That's taken a whole year.

Great closeups, Gary. Two of eastern America's classic heirloom grapes next to each other.

Of course up here in Ontario, vine buds are still shut tight; I won't be pruning for another 3-4 weeks. By mid-April we should start seeing budbreak, depending on temperature of course.
