  • 2003 Dönnhoff Niederhäuser Hermannshöhle Riesling Auslese Goldkapsel - Germany, Nahe (9/12/2021)
    Last bottle of this from our cellar, and pretty much on point. Spice, peach, salty mineral backbone, and an acidic spine that belies the vintage. This has been an easy wine to like it’s whole life, and probably has another couple of decades to go if one has more. Sadly I do not.
