Tried this ViniMacerati over the weekend:
1. TroonVnyd KubliBench Amber EstateVnyd/ApplegateVlly/OR (13.1%; 64% Riesling/27% Vermentino/9% Viognier; Certified BioDynamic; Frmtd: 3 weeks on skins; www.TroonVineyard.com) GrantsPass/OR 2020: Dark amber/burnished bronze some cloudy color w/ some tiny bubbles; rather appley/apple cider some resiny/phenolic/VM fairly aromatic R/mango/orangey bit honeyed/honey graham slight earthy rather complex nose; lightly tart/tangy somewhat rich/lush some phenolic/resiny/VM/apple cidery fairly floral/R/mango light honeyed/honey grahams very perfumed some complex flavor; long some VM/phenolic/resiny/apple cider some floral/R/mango bit earthy fairly rich/lush some complex finish w/ very little tannins; quite an interesting/complex VM w/ nice balance of VM character & floral R aromatics but shows a lot of tangy/cidery character not often seen in these wines. $29.00 (KK)

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. This is the 2'nd Troon wine I've tried, the other being a white Rhone blend. They are a "natural" wine producer, I believe, but their wines have been clean as a whistle and show no natty character whatsoever. This wine was showing a lot of mature character for such a young VM.
