- 2019 Château de Pibarnon Bandol Rosé Nuances - France, Provence, Bandol (9/6/2021)
Lurid, deep pink color. Aromas of blood orange, cinnamon and gardenia. It smells as opulent as it looks. There’s a sense of sweetness on the palate, but I suspect it’s just the alcohol. Flavors tend to the orange and strawberry end of the spectrum, and it’s very long. It’s not really a late summer thirst quencher of a Rosé. It’s more of a mealtime wine. That’s fine now that I know what I am dealing with. 100% Mourvèdre and has the guts to prove it.

what's the alcohol listed at? Sounds like "Nuances" might be a misnomer?
