- 2014 Von Schubert Maximin Grünhäuser Abtsberg Riesling Spätlese - Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer (8/15/2021)
Decided to do a check in on this bottling, largely because 2014 isn’t my favorite German Riesling vintage, and I wanted to be sure things were still going on OK. No rush here. This is still firmly in the baby fat stage, and while enjoyable in its current state of richness, some more cellar time will expose a bit of the structure. Good now as the foil for spicy Thai curry, but better things ahead. Hold!
