Carlisle Zin SonomaCnty (14.9%) 2006: Dark color w/ some bricking; strong Zin/spicy/blackberry some toasty/oak bit cedary/pencilly/oldZin/tired fairly fragrant nose; lightly tart fairly tired/dried out/oldZin/cedary/pencilly light blackberry/Zin/spicy some toasty/oak flavor w/ modest tangy/astringent tannins; very long some astringent/bitter fairly tired/dried out finish; a somewhat attractive spicy/Zin nose but pretty tired/dried out on the palate.
