An hour of decanting prior to the first glass, but still rather tight. Eventually over the three hours I sampled it there was red fruit, some floral, and a bit of red licorice, but it never truly opened up. I left 1/3 of the bottle corked up in the fridge for further evaluation, but it certainly seems that much more cellar time is needed to determine if this really has anything meaningful to offer.
