Lockdown Wine #103. A bit of browning at the edge. Otherwise red/violet. Ripe red berries and something definitely earthy and organic as well. A bit of cocoa powder also. Very bright. Slight prickle and high acidity. Quite dry. Definitely needs food. A little tough getting through the acids without something to chew on. Medium bodied, although the acidity gives the impression of lightness. Tannins aren't really noticeable. Young but I think drink now. Decent length. Definitely not a wine for everyone, but if acidity is your thing, this is perfect for you.

Another note on Cellartracker reported a transformed and quite lovely wine after 24 hours in the ref. I have half the bottle in the ref so we shall see. But if there's no improvement, this goes into Wednesday's boeuf bourgignon.
Three be the things I shall never attain:
Envy, content, and sufficient champagne.
