Tried this wine last weekend:
1. Forlorn-Hope TrouGrit Trousseau Gris King-Andrews Vnyd/SuisunVlly (10.87%; 25 cs) Murphys 2014: Light gold color; some earthy/herbal/pungent some floral/apple blossom/apple slight nutty/oxidative some fragrant rather interesting nose; quite tart/tangy rather earthy/herbal slight appley/floral/apple blossom rather lean/eviscerated flavor; med.long appley/underripe slight floral/herbal/earthy quite lean/eviscerated finish; a lean/mean/eviscerated/underripe white lacking in flavor & unlikely to get any better; a somewhat vapid interesting nose but utterly lacking on the palate.
