2015 Waypoint Cabernet Sauvignon Somerston Vineyard Napa Valley
Ripe and reductive plum and espresso coffee notes. Brutally new world in style, fleshy and assertive--so much so that I kept thinking I should add a little water. Didn't check the abv but expect it was around 15%. Not a fan.

First wine from the producer. Bought one each of three of their cabs on some flash sale offer, and they weren't cheap. Stupid!

Pulled the bottle out of the recycle bin to check: 15.4%. JEEZ.
