Tonight with a Chinese chicken/onion/bell pepper/celery stir fry:

2018 Le Cadeau Pinot Noir Willamette Valley
Liked it just okay. It's certainly very drinkable but it's ripe and sweet with a tad less acidity (and therefore complexity) than one hopes for even in a new world pinot. These days there are better pinots for half the $42 I paid. An unexpected disappointment as I've had 2 or 3 other wines from this producer that were truly stellar. Drink, don't hold.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

That does sound disappointing given what can be had for $25 in 2018 Oregon Pinot.

I know, right?

Two weeks ago in Montana I paid $13 for a Nadia (Laetitia's brand for non-estate grapes) pinot from California that was a standout in the budget category and a wine I'd rather drink than this even if both were $13--or $42.
