2016 St. Urbans-Hof Ockfener Bockstein Riesling Spätlese - Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer (5/22/2021)Perhaps this was a bit closed down, but in defiance of current trends, it resembled a Kabinett more than a Spätlese. Bright grapefruit, lime zest and bright acidity were the focus, and it felt so very light on its feet. Delicately, rather than blatantly sweet, it was quite easy to drink, despite being a bit stern in its overall expression.
