WTN: A very nice bottle of wine. Deep golden in color, it's nose did not really blossom (keeping it from a higher rating), but the mouthfeel was enjoyable, and flavors were well integrated with excellent acid balance. Flavors were lemony, peachy, and apricoty, with a certain seamlessness that I thoroughly enjoyed. Seemed a bit deeper than I normally assosciate with kabinett's, like into spatlese range. It went very well with dinner of chicken with cream of mushroom and cream of celery soup and green beans. If it was available now, I'd buy more. It was a good intro to this producer and vineyard. There is no hurry to drink this wine. A few more years might add a bit more complexity and unmute the nose, but it is drinking very well right now. If scoring I'd give it 89 points. AP 432506202202

Speaking of Gysler, have you had their sparkling Scheurrebe brut? They call it "Bundle of Scheu", and there's a drawing of a stark delivering a baby. Apparently, they're making fun of their own accent wherein in "scheu" sounds more like "joy".

KILLER WINE. Don't pass up a chance to try it if you haven't already.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
