2010 Cayuse Camaspelo Walla Walla Valley Red Bordeaux Blend
Not decanted in advance: classic WA blackberry fruit with tobacco, mint and menthol notes typical of many red wines in this vintage, and the 80% cab franc really stands out. Despite the green stuff and sturdy structure, plenty of fruit here for an enjoyable post-steak dinner tipple. Good future ahead. No sediment.

2010 Reynvaan Family Vineyards Syrah The Unnamed Walla Walla Valley
Intended only as a compliment, not plagiarism, PINOTPOUNDER's enthusiastic note nails the wine and I can't improve on it except to add that this is less funky--and more elegant--than Reynvaan's other Rocks-based syrahs: "95+ points - This beauty has finally emerged from its shell and is hitting on all cylinders. The balance and structure of this effort is spot-on, and the complex notes unfold layer after layer. Dark fruits are wrapped around an impressive showing of secondary notes such as smoked meat, olive tapenade, and the ever so slight hint of dried violets. Both the nose and the palate display the notes. This may actually improve over the next year or two, and can easily hold on until the end of this decade in proper cellar conditions. This is a strong reference point option if you want to see exactly what Walla Walla fruit is capable of achieving without a hefty price tag." Oh, no sediment and 100% ready on removal of cork. At peak, but can cruise from here.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
