Not a real regular customer, but have bought a few times and no problems/friction on the transactions. No Thomas Jefferson bottles, midrange Bdx and some Edmunds St John from memory.

Bought from them once. All went well.

They have great inventory, but I hate shipping to my location from the east coast.

Many thanks for all the replies. I also am leery about shipping from the east coast. A close watch has to be made on the weather. This should be a good time of year if I did decide to order some of the bargains. Also my wife and I wanted to know what they would pay for some of our wines. For a high enough price (and some of the wines were bought at considerably lower prices than the going prices now) I would consider selling some of our wines. I wonder if the mark-up is around 30%. Sokolin said they were not interested in buying any of our wines! They are of far better quality than the average of their wines. If they had been helpful we would have bought some of their "bargains" even though they are on the east coast. No great loss, and I think they are too boastful. Richard L

Try Winebid. They set the reserves, which I found to be quite fair, and you get whatever they hammer for less 18%. I made almost $5K on just three cases of wine a few months ago. Everything sold in just two weeks.
