Lockdown Wine #92. A Chianti Rufina. Still pretty dark. Ripe and spicy nose, plus a little minty, a touch of wood, and cocoa powder. Quite complex. Sweet fruit, and the woody/spicy notes again on the palate. A bit of prune as well. Soft tannins and good length. Very nice with some sausages and spaghetti pomodoro. Probably at peak now. Sadly, the best and last bottle of the half dozen I had.
Three be the things I shall never attain:
Envy, content, and sufficient champagne.
