Where to find Edmunds St. John wines in New Mexico?

by Cynthia Wenslow » Sat Feb 17, 2007 12:28 pm

I keep looking but I never seem to find them. Anyone here from NM know where they can reliably be purchased?

I tried contacting the NM distributor, but they haven't returned my calls. :(

Cynthia,
Hopefully someone with local knowledge will chime in. A non-responsive wholesaler...what a surprise!!. If all else fails, I'm sure Steve will be glad to ship you as much as you want to New Mexico.

Cynthia,
Check out his website, I believe he lists a store right in Santa Fe NM.

Unfortunately, that is in fact the unresponsive wholesaler. But thanks for looking!

Cynthia,
The EdStJ wines were once handled by BotiqueWineDistributors several yrs ago. For certain reasons, they were dropped by SteveEdmunds, or it was a mutual parting, or something. Not surprised that Botique didn't get back to you...they tend to use that same business model that other failed distributors have found so successful.
So the EdStJ wines are NOT currently available here in NM. They can, with some effort, be ordered directly from Steve.
But we can do better than that. If you'll give me a call (505/672-1058-h or 505/667-5290-w) and leave your phone # (I'm kind hard to track down much of the time), I'll give you all the inside skinny.
Steve's wines are pretty extraordinary and worth tracking down. But don't you dare follow Bill's suggestion!!
TomHill (and don't be intimidated by the voice mail message)

Thanks for clearing that up, Tom. I'll certainly give you a call. Thank you!

Bill, since I know where Tom works, I bet it would be difficult to raid his cellar, or maybe, more precisely, difficult to get away with it!

Well....they can steal several tons of copper...or NationalSecurity secrets up here and get of w/ a slap on the wrist.
But you touch ONE BOTTLE of my EdStJohn wine....and it's off to the slammer for you, Cynthia..and no probation!! :-)
