2017 Enfield Wine Co. Chardonnay Old Vines Haynes Vineyard - USA, California, Napa Valley, Coombsville (3/17/2021)
About a year since my first bottle, and now the depth becomes apparent. It starts out with a clear note of white peach, but then dives down a well of deep, cold water, lined with rough stones. Coming up for air, the green smells of a warm spring day pair with an inner mouth richness, kissed by oak spice, and charged with lively acidity. After drinking John’s Chardonnays for several vintages, this feels like the best one.

Sounds lovely; my kind of wine.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
