Tried these two new Bedrocks last night:
1. Bedrock Riesling ColeRanch/MendoCnty Erster Zweieiiger Zwilling (Plntd: 1973; 13.0%; Dry) 2019: Med.light gold color; strong R/floral/mango fairly stony/chalky/perfumed talc bit old-timey Calif R some complex lovely nose; fairly tart/tangy dry but not austere lightly floral/R/mango fairly stony/chalky quite attractive flavor; very long light R/floral/mango fairly strong stony/chalky/bit mineral finish; very much an old-timey Calif R along the lines of the FreemarkAbbey/StonyHill R of the mid-'70's; quite an interesting/savory Calif R. $28.00

2. Bedrock Riesling ColeRanch/MendoCnty Zweiter Zweieiiger Zwilling (8.5%; RS: 4.0%) 2019: Light yellow color; strong floral/R/mango/pineapple/ripe very little stony/mineral much more fruit-driven somewhat simpler nose; lightly tart fairly sweet Spatlese-level lush R/floral/mango/pineapple rather fruit-forward w/ little mineral rather simpler flavor; lightly tart strong R/floral/pineapple quite fruity finish; lots of forward R/floral fruit & much simpler in character; think this will be much more interesting w/ 5-10 yrs of age reminds a lot of the old Wente Spatlese R of the '72 vintage, which was amazing @ 20 yrs of age. $28.00

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. Two really good R by Morgan, but I found the Erster much more interesting at this point in time. That said, I think I liked his previous WirzVnyd R a bit more than the Erster.
