2019 Georg Mosbacher Wachenheimer Gerümpel Riesling trocken - Germany, Pfalz (2/28/2021)
Sampled over three days to see how it would evolve. The first day it was very tight, and didn’t offer much in the way of complexity. After 24 hours it gained depth, and after 48 delineation. Dry, fruity, and with an almost Scheurebe-like sage element, it maintained a phenolic edge, even after being open for two days. I’ll check in again after a couple of years.
