2011 Produttori del Barbaresco Barbaresco Riserva Rabajà - Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Barbaresco (2/27/2021)
Early days yet for this regal cru. It’s still showing notable tannin, a warning to all who approach without sufficient respect. There’s notable, but subtle fruit, accented by herbal and leathery tones. It’s really a bit of a tease at this point, showing complexity, but baring it’s claws. Approach carefully, or at least with an appropriate food offering, such that the beast might accept your advances.
